This week’s House of the Week is a beautiful home in Thompson’s Station, TN! Located in Williamson County, Thompson’s Station is part of the fast-growing Nashville metroplex! Settlers first arrived in Thompson’s Station in the late 1700s. The community got its current moniker in the 1850s, when a local doctor donated land for a train station.
Residents enjoy a small-town atmosphere that is rich in history. Seven local landmarks are on the National Register of Historic Places, and nearby Franklin is known for its historic downtown and antiques stores. The area has award-winning schools and large businesses to provide employment opportunities, such as Mars and Nissan. Other local amenities include high-end shopping and dining, golf courses, the renowned Natchez Trace, and outdoor recreation on the Harpeth River. Plus, residents are within an easy drive of Nashville and its many popular attractions.
Our favorite feature of this House of the Week is the spacious family room with its huge windows and cozy fireplace. We also love the spa-like master suite and the large backyard patio. Check out the video tour and photo gallery below!
